Liturgy 01 · A gift

For the morning you wake up knowing

You wake up and you know.

Before the coffee. Before the day asks anything of you. Some quiet part of your body has already decided, and now the rest of you has to catch up.

You do not have to name it yet. You do not have to tell anyone. You do not have to know what you are going to do.

Only this: the knowing is true. It has been true for some time. It is not betraying you by arriving now.

Let it be true for one minute.
You don't have to do anything with it yet.

The day will ask its questions soon enough.
For now: sit with what your body already knows.
